what is a zine?
a zine is an independently published compilation of works from either a single creator or a small group of creators. fanzines are more specifically comprised of derivative fanworks for pre-existing media; in this case, tumblr sexymen!
which characters count as tumblr sexymen?
what truly makes a character qualify as a sexyman can be a tough thing to pin down! we've decided that all characters listed on sexypedia are fair game! we have a more in depth guide regarding our sexyman criteria linked in the info doc section.
is there an age requirement for contributors?
although the zine will remain sfw, we ask that all applicants are at least 18 years old by july 5th, 2024, due to the subject matter and the possibility of fanservice/pinup content being present within the zine.
how many contributors will you be accepting?
we are aiming to accept 35 page artists, 7 writers, 5 merch artists, up-to 5 multimedia creators, and 1 cover artist.
how will contributors be compensated?
since it will be free to download, we can't offer contributors monetary compensation for working on this zine! like many other free zines, contributor spots are volunteer positions.
